Quick Start
Welcome, you are almost onboard! Follow the next simple steps and you will have access to the SmatPay payment gateway and all its features. With our APIs, you can receive payments in a variety of currencies via multiple payment channels. Here's how you go about it:
Step 1: Register to get an account
Start by navigating to the SmatPay merchant portal and select register. Fill in all the required details including setting up passwords, read through and agree to the Terms and Conditions to register.
Step 2: Verify email
When step 1 is completed, the merchant will receive an email verification link in the mail, that will redirect them to the login page when clicked.
Step 3: Login and Complete your KYC
Enter email address, password, recapture and click login, and then fill in the OTP sent on email to login successfully.
Upon logging in, fill in the profile information and proceed. To complete KYC and to be eligible for a LIVE account, add contacts, bank account(s), director(s)(who will get an email notification for the add) and upload defined company or individual documents.
Step 4: Go LIVE
Click the Request for Approval button on the profile. Customer support will get the notification for account approval on the helpdesk. They will then either approve or disaprove. Once approved, merchants are ready to transact on the LIVE platform. Merchants can now receive payments.
